Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device which is able to speed up the sheet processing work. SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device is provided with a revolving body, which revolves centering around an axis of rotation and which is provided with sheet holding means at its periphery, or at sheet holding areas 28, 28, and a sheet receiving part 17 and a sheet discharging part 51, both of which are situated, leaving a space in between, in the direction along a moving locus on which the sheet holding areas 28, 28 move. The sheet holding means holds a sheet 10 that is supplied from the sheet receiving part 17 when the sheet holding areas 28, 28 are located at the sheet receiving part 17. In addition, the sheet holding means discharges the sheet 10, when the sheet holding areas 28, 28 arrive at the sheet discharging part 51, toward the sheet discharging part 51.
