PURPOSE: To simplify the control for the paper feeding by counting the signals delivered according to the continuous paper feed to detect the cutting position of the paper and also providing the circuit to memorize the signal showing that the sheet is being cut.

CONSTITUTION: Paper feed order 1 is stored in register 11, and this contents is set to counter (I) 13. At the same time, pulse signal 3 to be delivered according to the paper length is set to counter (II) 15. With start of the paper feed, pulse signal 2 is delivered according to the paper feed, and counter 13 and 15 perform the subtraction. The output of counter 15 is put into decoder circuit 16 to detect the time of zero, thus the paper cutting position being detected. The sheet cut signal is memorized in sheet cut memory circuit 18 when circuit 16 shows zero, and then paper feed block signal 6 is delivered to stop the paper feed as well as to prevent order 1 from being set to counter 13. When the sheet cutting is over, signal 6 is released by reset signal 4 to restart the paper feed. Thus, order 1 can be given in no consideration of the paper cutting position.
