Abstract:
To provide a sensor detection mechanism or the like which reduces a time until a detection sensor actually responds after a sheet rear end passes a sensor flag.
The sheet detection mechanism includes: the detection sensor S movable between a sheet detection state and a sheet non-detection state; a detection flag 1 moving in contact with a sheet to be conveyed; and a sensor flag F having an operation flag 2 operating the detection sensor S, wherein a movement amount is small when the sensor flag F operates the detection sensor S in the passage of the sensor flag F by sheet rear end.
