To efficiently dry a sheet regardless of a simple configuration.
Dry air that is supplied from a dry air supply source 23 to a dry air emission mechanism 12 is blown to a dry wind direction-changing member 13 via a duct 25 and a connection pipe 26. The direction of nearly half of the dry air being blown to the dry air direction-changing member 13 is changed to that facing the end part of a sheet S along the surface of the sheet S by the dry wind direction-changing member 13. Then, the dry air after changing the direction is sucked by a dry air suction duct 14 after passing an area near the surface of the sheet S. On the other hand, the direction of the remaining half of the dry air that is blown to the dry air direction-changing member 13 is changed in a direction facing the other end part of the sheet S along the surface of the sheet S by the dry air direction-changing member 13. Then, dry air after the direction is changed passes an area near the surface of the sheet S and then is sucked by the dry air suction duct 15.
