PURPOSE: To provide a sheet excellent in moisture permeability, having a good light-screening property, and capable of easily drying and storing onions, pota toes or garlics by laminating a composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a filler to a reinforcing material and subsequently monoaxially or diaxially stretching the laminated sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethylene) and 50-400 pts.wt. of a filler (e.g. calcium carbonate) is laminated to a reinforcing material by 30g/cm2 weight per unit area, the reinforcing material comprising nonwoven fabric which is produced from fibers comprising a polyester as a core layer and a polyethylene as a sheath layer and which has a 100μm thickness and 30g/cm2 weight per unit area. The laminated sheet is monoaxially or diaxially stretched with a roll type stretching machine in a ratio of 1.1-8 times to produce the objective sheet for drying and storing onions, potatoes or garlics, having a moisture permeability of 1000-20000g/m2 day and a light-screening degree of ≥95% in a wavelength range of 200-800nm and capable of easily drying and storing the onions, potatoes or garlics.
