Abstract:
To improve operability, sheet guiding, a size of a structure and a connection to logistics.
A sheet-fed rotary press for multicolor printing comprises a sheet conveying means for conveying a printing sheet in a direction of a printing process and in its opposite direction. The rotary press comprises the conveying means having an endless conveyor system to return the sheet. The conveyor system returns the sheet to a side of a sheet feeder at an upper side of the press, and delivers the sheet to a sheet delivery unit mounted in parallel with the feeder. The feeder is coupled to the delivery unit via a pipe conveying system. The press can satisfactorily access compactly and particularly satisfactorily operable by the logistics.
