PURPOSE: To prevent a waterdrop from adhering to a sheet and to avoid a failure in feeding out a sheet on a feed tray by bringing the paper surface of a moistureproof thin plate formed by sticking moistureproof material such as vinyl to a paper sheet into contact with the surface of a sheet in the sheet feed tray.

CONSTITUTION: A moistureproof thin plate 3 formed by stacking in layers moistureproof material 3a such as vinyl, metal or the like and a paper sheet 3b is disposed in such a manner that the paper sheet 3b layer is brought into contact with the surface 2a of a sheet 2 stored in a sheet feed tray 1. In this arrangement, a waterdrop is prevented from adhering to the sheet, which can attain good running performance for a sheet on the sheet feed tray.
