To provide a sheet feeder capable of feeding sheets while easily preventing the generation of sheet feed failure by a sheet curled part being caught by a sheet feed roller shaft even though the corner part of the front end part of the paper or a sheet side edge including the corner part is curled and an image forming device having the sheet feeder.

The sheet feeder 20 can pull out the sheets S mounted on a sheet pushing up member 201 by bringing the same into contact with a sheet feed roller 21 and feed the same one by one while separating the same between the sheet feed roller 21 and a separating member 22. A sheet feed roller shaft 210 includes bending sections 211 for releasing a sheet front end corner part curl and the bending sections 211 are arranged in opposite positions p2 of the contacting positions p1 of the sheet feed roller and the sheet while placing the rotational center 21c of the sheet feed roller 21 between the sheet feed roller and the contact positions when beginning to pull off the sheet S by bringing the sheet into contact with the sheet feed roller 21.
