Abstract:
To always secure a constant or higher sheet carrying force even for long-time use.
When a plurality of sheets S are carried by a sheet feeding means 1 for feeding sheets stacked by a sheet stacking means to a carrying roller 2 rotated in a sheet carrying direction, a separation roller 3 rotated in a direction opposite the sheet carrying direction is press-contacted by specified pressure applied by pressure adjusting means 4A and 5. Also, even when wearing occurs in the separation roller 3, the separation roller is press-contacted with the carrying roller 2 by specified or higher pressure applied by the pressure adjusting means 4A and 5.
