PURPOSE: To obtain secure, individually separated feeding of both regular and special paper sheets by operating action transmitting means with a group of plate cams, on which working points are formed in accordance with the feeding process of a sheet.

CONSTITUTION: In the process 2 of working points P0WP1 on a group of plate cams 40, these cams 40 rotate and rollers R1 and R2 move onto the points S2 and Q2, respectively, and then the idle roller is pressed. In the process 3 to be completed at the point P2, the roller R1 which is an action transmitting means, passes the point S2 to release the idle roller off and turn the sucker back. Then, in the process 4 at the point P3, the sucker reaches its lower limit owing to the work of No.2 and 3 action transmitting means. In the process 5 at the working point P4, suction of air is commenced through a vacuum pipe and, in the process at the point P5, the sucker is inclined and holds at the point P6 a separated sheet. At the subsequent point P7, the sheet is bitten by a resist roller unit and, at the following point P0, the suction of air is turned off and the sucker sets free the sheet, which is transported further with rotation of the drum.
