Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of inhibiting false detection of the concentration of a sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device 10 includes a loading part 11, a support part 12, a side surface part 13, an upper surface part 14, a feeding member 30, and a first optical sensor 40. The loading part 11 includes a loading surface 11A on which a plurality of sheets S are loaded. The support part 12 supports the loading part 11. The side surface part 13 is connected to the support part 12. The upper surface part 14 is connected with the side surface part 13 and has an inner upper surface 14A facing the loading surface 11A. The feeding member 30 feeds each sheet S. The first optical sensor 40 detects concentration of an upper surface SA of a first sheet S1 laid as the uppermost surface of the sheets S loaded on the loading surface 11A. The first optical sensor 40 is provided on the inner upper surface 14A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
