Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: when printing is performed while inserting an insertion sheet, since at the time of a sudden shortage of the insertion sheet, a transfer sheet is started to be fed without confirming whether the insertion sheet exists or not so as to enhance productivity, the transfer sheet is discharged in a state where the insertion sheet is not inserted, but then, if printing is performed while checking the insertion sheet to prevent it, productivity decreases.SOLUTION: In an image forming device, insertion sheets are previously fed into an inversion buffer 76 of an inserter, and when a shortage of the sheet is detected, the insertion sheet of the inversion buffer 76 is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
