Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and image formation apparatus which lift a feeding rotation body up/down with excellent positional accuracy.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device includes: a manual feeding tray (loading means) which is loaded with sheets; a pickup roller 21 (feeding rotation body) which can feed the sheets; a pickup arm 25 (holding means) which holds the pickup roller 21 in an ascending/descending manner; a torsion coil spring 27 (energization means) which energizes the pickup arm 25 so as to bring the pickup roller 21 into contact with the sheet loaded on the manual feeding tray; and a lifting mechanism 3 (movement means) which moves the pickup arm 25. The pickup arm 25 includes: a reception part 252 (first reception part) which receives the energization force of the torsion coil spring 27; and a release rib 251 (second reception part) which receives the force from the lifting mechanism 3. The release rib 251 is arranged in the vicinity of the reception part 252 in the axial direction of the pickup roller 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
