Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably perform automatic paper feeding from an installed roll.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device detects an end F of a sheet 1 using a sensor 60 capable of detecting a distance to the sheet 1 separated from a roll R while rotating the roll R in a winding direction based on variation in an output value of the sensor 60. After the detection, the sheet feeding device rotates the roll R in a feeding direction while feeding the sheet 1 so as to position the detected end F thereof at the leading position to determine a feeding state of the sheet 1 based on variation in the output value of the sensor 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
