Abstract:
To prevent that uneven stack of sheets caused by, e.g., staple thickness affects stack quality and hinders productivity.
The sheets can be stapled at a compiler 430, and a trail edge support 435 of the compiler 430 is movable from a first position to a second position. The compiler 430 is configured to drop the sheet or set of sheets to build compiled set stacks at the first and second positions on a stacking support 455 positioned beneath the compiler 430.
