Abstract:
To form a good crease on a sheet without increasing a size and a cost of a device.SOLUTION: A sheet folding device includes pairs of folding rollers 55 and 56 (a folding processing unit) for forming a crease on a sheet P, and guide members 53 and 54 for guiding the sheet P conveyed by a pair of conveying rollers 51 toward the pairs of folding rollers 55 and 56. Pre-folding processing is performed by the guide members 53 and 54 in order to facilitate formation of creases A1 and A2 before the creases A1 and A2 are formed on the sheet P by the pairs of folding rollers 55 and 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
