Abstract:
To provide a sheet folding device capable of smoothly operating a folding guide for guiding a sheet to a folding nip in a parallel state, and a sheet post-processing device equipped with the same.SOLUTION: The sheet folding device comprises a sheet conveyance path, first and second side plates, a first folding roller pair, a first folding guide, a guide driving mechanism and a control unit. The first folding guide can reciprocate between a folding position for guiding a sheet folded part to a first folding nip of the first folding roller pair and a retreating position separated from the first folding nip, and includes a guide body and a pair of arms provided at both ends of the guide body in a width direction. The guide driving mechanism includes a drive source provided in the first side plate, a first drive transmission part that transmits a driving force of the drive source to the arm supported on the first side plate, a second drive transmission part that transmits the driving force of the drive source to the arm supported on the second side plate, and a drive connection part that connects the first drive transmission part to the second drive transmission part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
