Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device in a compact configuration, capable of loading sheets so that an end of the sheet ejected onto a sheet loading tray is not interfered.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises a sheet loading tray 38a for loading sheets, carrier means for carrying the sheets to the sheet loading tray from a prescribed carrier path, a lower end restriction member 47 abutting onto a tip of the sheet carried to the sheet loading tray 38a, lower end restriction member movement means for moving the lower end restriction member 47 along the prescribed carrier path, means for folding the sheets, and control means, and when a first sheet is carried from the prescribed carrier path by the carrier means, the lower end restriction member 47 is moved to a first position, when a second sheet having a longer length in a carrier direction than the first sheet is carried from the prescribed carrier path by the carrier means, the lower end restriction member 47 is moved to a second position downstream of the first position in the carrier direction and the folding means folds the second sheet after the first sheet and the second sheet were carried onto the sheet loading tray by the carrier means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
