Abstract:
To provide a sheet folding device capable of coping with any folding process of inward tri-folding, outward tri-folding and double-folding without changing the configuration.SOLUTION: A sheet folding device includes a folding processing means including: a first folding roller 34a that can rotate forward and backward; a second folding roller 34b in contact with the first folding roller 34a; a third folding roller 34c contacting the first folding roller 34a at a position different from the position at which the second folding roller 34b contacts; a first pushing member 41 movable toward a first pressure contact portion 35 where the first folding roller 34a and the second folding roller 34b are in contact with each other; a second pushing member 42 movable toward a second pressure contact portion 36 where the first folding roller 34a and the third folding roller 34c are in contact with each other; and a space part 43 provided on the upstream side of the first folding roller 34a to store a tip side of the sheet conveyed by a conveyance roller pair 31 and a loop formed by the conveyance roller pair 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
