To miniaturize the subject machine and to stabilize the folding of a sheet by providing an interlocking mechanism for operating two sets of guide plates to a guide position for guiding a sheet to a sheet creasing device and a non-guide position in interlocking with the sorting of sheets by a carrying switching device.
The inlet part 320 of a carrying switching device is swung to the left, whereby link members 423, 425 and link members 424, 426 are moved so that guide plates 810, 820 are turned in mutually different directions. A loop part 710 formed during this operation on a sheet 700 carried through the inlet part 320 is nipped by the rollers 240, 220 of a sheet creasing device 200 to crease the sheet 700. The inlet part 320 is swung to the right, whereby the link members 423, 425 and the link member 424, 426 are moved, and a loop part formed during this operation on the sheet 700 is nipped by the rollers 230, 210 of the sheet creasing device 200 to crease the sheet 700.
