PURPOSE: To efficiently produce titled composition having flexibility, by feeding a water-containing composition consisting mainly of an inorganic filler to a support and running the support together with the fed composition beneath rolls rotating in the same direction as that of the support at a peripheral velocity of at least twice the running velocity of the support.
CONSTITUTION: Titled sheet-form composition is produced by providing a water- containing composition by adding 15W40wt% of water to a mixture comprising 80W95pts.wt. of (a) an inorganic filler such as bauxite or a manganese ore, 5W 20pts. wt. of (b) a thermoplastic resin and/or a rubber and 1W20pts.wt. of (c) a reinforcing staple fiber material such as asbestos or glass fiber, uniformly feeding the water- containing composition 2 to a support 1 and running the support 1 beneath at least one roll 3 rotating in the same direction as that of the support at a peripheral velocity of at least twice the running velocity of the support.
