Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guiding device for a printer to guarantee a good introduction of a printed matter into a printing gap by uniformly guiding the matter on a sheet guiding cylinder or particularly on an impression cylinder.
SOLUTION: The sheet guiding device 9 comprises a sheet smoothing unit 17 coupled to a pneumatic mechanism 18 for supplying the air, and a guide surface 20 disposed in front of a printing gap 12 in a conveying direction 8 of a printed matter. In order to remove a curl by orienting the matter against a conveying direction 8, the unit 17 is associated with the guide surface 20.
