Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guiding apparatus stabilizing the whole behavior of a sheet at the time of running to a large extent and certainly rotating and transferring the sheet without imparting a damage.
SOLUTION: In the guide device arranged in a sheet-fed press and grasping the front end of a sheet by the gripper device 2 provided at an intermediate cylinder 1 to rotate and transfer the same, the paper guide 3 arranged almost parallel to the rotary locus of the gripper device 2 so as to provide a predetermined gap is formed of four air boxes 8a-8d divided in the circumferential direction thereof and air blow-off holes 7 are respectively bored in the guide surfaces 5 of the air boxes 8a-8d and air is blown off independently from the air blow-off holes 7 by a rotary valve 11.
