Abstract:
To provide a sheet holding device capable of holding a sheet for a necessary time while suppressing deterioration of throughput.SOLUTION: A sheet holding device (22) comprises: a sheet holding housing (60); a plurality of sheet holding parts (61-64) which are supported by the sheet holding housing (60) at predetermined intervals and each of which can hold a conveyed sheet; holding housing moving means (65) for moving the sheet holding housing (60) so that the plurality of sheet holding parts (61-64) are made to face a first conveyance path (R4) one by one and further the plurality of sheet holding parts (61-64) are made to face a second conveyance path (R5) one by one; carrying-in means (66) for carrying-in the sheet conveyed from the first conveyance path (R4) to the sheet holding part (61) facing the first conveyance path (R4); and carrying-out means (67) for carrying-out the sheet held by the sheet holding part (63) facing the second conveyance path (R5) to the second conveyance path (R5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
