Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sheet-shaped object for application to the portion of an architectural structure which is to be waterproofed. The sheet-shaped object is thin and flexible, has good handleability, and shows high pressure-sensitive adhesive force during application to produce a sufficient temporary-adhesion effect. A roll of the sheet is free from blocking when unwound for the application, and is easy to unwind. The sheet-shaped object for waterproofing is characterized in that mesh-shaped reinforcing woven fabric (6) which has been made easily bondable has been bonded to one surface of either a moisture-impermeable thin metal film (2) or a film coated with a moisture-impermeable vapor-deposited metal, the film (2) and the coated film having a plurality of holes (5) formed therein, and that the mesh-shaped reinforcing woven fabric (6) is configured of depressions and protrusions, the depressions having been woven using a thermoplastic synthetic-resin flat yarn (3) and the protrusions having been woven using a thick thread (4).
