An upper curl detection sensor 116 and a lower curl detection sensor 117 are provided in a position a predetermined amount apart from a discharge roller R for conveying the sheets S to a stack tray 121. The curling direction of the sheet S is determined based on detection results of the sensors, and the offset direction of the sheets S for the sheet conveying direction is changed by first offset means 114, 115, or a second offset means 113.
