Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make any matching power be rightly applied by matching a sheet in its delivery direction as well as matching a side edge of the sheet in a direction being almost orthogonalized with it, and regulating thickness of the sheet delivered to a matching position by means of a pair of guides, then driving both first and second matching means, thereby having them conformably operated.
SOLUTION: When paper is fed till its tip comes into contact with a binding port of a binding device, a frame 67 of a matching device is lowered, and two sliders 77 and 79 encircle the paper. A roller 103 is rotated clockwise, moving a wire 107 to the side of the slider 77, and another wire 109 is wound round on a roller 105, and the slider 77 is separated from a paper edge part by dint of restoring force of a spring 97, while the slider 79 pouches the paper as extending a spring 99. When the roller 103 is rotated in reverse, conversely the slider 77 is drawn to the paper side and simultaneously the slider 79 is separated from the paper. With these operations repeated, before and behind as well as left and right of plural sheets of paper can be trued up on the basis of a binding port and a side guide 110.
