Abstract:
To provide a binding machine for sheet materials which can appropriately adjust a gap between one recessed and projecting teeth and the other recessed and projecting teeth so as to generate a binding pressure in accordance with a plurality of sheet materials, and which, when inconvenience occurs in engagement of the recessed and projecting teeth, can handle the inconvenience without releasing the appropriate binding pressure.SOLUTION: There is provided a binding machine for sheet materials in which: a second elastic member 52 is arranged between one side skeleton 10 where one recessed and projecting teeth 1A are arranged and the other side skeleton 11 where the other recessed and projecting teeth 1B are arranged; operation means 50 for adjusting a gap between the one side skeleton 10 and the other side skeleton 11 is provided; and the operation means 50 performs, via an elastic member 51 for recessed and projecting teeth gap adjustment that adjusts a gap between the one recessed and projecting teeth and the other recessed and projecting teeth, pressing operation on the operation means 50 used for the adjustment, thereby adjusting binding force between the one recessed and projecting teeth 1A and the other recessed and projecting teeth 1B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
