Abstract:
The present invention is a sheet material folding device 100 that folds a long sheet material 60 in a bellows shape, the sheet material folding device 100 comprising: a bending means 130 for alternately bending, at predetermined intervals, the long sheet material 60 fed in a predetermined direction; a plurality of conveying units 120 that support the long sheet material 60 at the point where the long sheet material 60 is bent, and convey the long sheet material 60 in the predetermined direction; and a control means 150 for controlling the plurality of conveying units 120 so that a rearward conveying unit 120 among the plurality of conveying units 120 conveys the long sheet material 60 at a lower speed than a forward conveying unit 120.
