To stably convey a sheet material.SOLUTION: A conveyance drum 21 is provided with first holding means 51, and the first holding means 51 contains a first claw part 61 for holding the tip end part of a sheet material P and a first claw stand 62. A transfer cylinder 24 contains a second claw part 63 for holding the tip end part of the sheet P and a second claw stand 64, and the first holding means 51 and second holding means 52 are so arranged that end parts of the first claw stand 62 of the first holding means 51 and the second claw stand 64 of the second holding means 52 are overlapped with each other when the sheet material P is transferred (re-held) from the second holding means 51 to the first holding means 51, in an axial direction of rotary members (the conveyance drum 21, the transfer cylinder 24).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
