PURPOSE: To reduce the force between a foot and an insole by providing a laminate comprising a large number of layers containing coated carrier fabrics to both surfaces of a waxy material and moving the fibers and small particles in the waxy material at the time of action of pressure.

CONSTITUTION: A sheet member 24 contains a laminate 26 comprising a large number of individual layers 28 and each of the respective layers 28 contains a central carrier fabric 30. Both surfaces of the carrier fabric 30 are coated with a low mol.wt. waxy material 32 having a low m.p. and a large number of small particles, chopped hard fibers or flocks 36 are arranged in the waxy material 32. By this constitution, during use, the sheet member 24 can remove the pressure points between a foot 10 and a midsole/outersole structure 14 by the movement of the small particles and flocks 36 in an insole 16. A core 42 is bonded to a cover sheet 40 by an adhesive layer 46 and small particles and microspheres 45 are provided therein.
