To eliminate looseness and rattling of a fastened part and to prevent a screw from falling off by buckling a part of the shaft with respect to the compressive force of a hollow rivet in the axial direction and screwing a screw through a through hole in the hollow rivet.
When a sheet metal worked article B3 of a separate body is fitted to sheet metals B1, B2 utilizing a tapping screw T, a through hole B3a large enough to insert a tapping screw T is formed on the worked article B3 of a separate body in advance. After abutting the worked article 3B upon a hollow rivet 3, the tapping screw T is screwed into a through hole 3c of the hollow rivet 3 from the through hole B3a. Thus there is no looseness or rattling on the fastened part and there is no chance for a tapping screw T to fall off.
