Abstract:
The sheet-fed offset printing press has at least two lacquering units of the same type which follow on the last printing unit , and the lacquering units or their lacquering blanket cylinders, are arranged so that the front sides and the rear sides of the passing sheets are lacquered, wherein one of the lacquering units or its lacquering blanket cylinder is located beneath the sheet transporting path, and at least two infrared or hot air driers are provided, of which at least one is also located beneath the sheet transporting path. An independent claim is included for a method for the double-sided multi-color printing on sheets, preferably paper sheets in a sheet-fed offset printing press according to the invention.
