To increase the productivity of a sheet peeling device.SOLUTION: A sheet peeling device includes: a first paper feeding roller 2 and a first paper feeding tray 11 (first paper feeding means) for feeding lapped sheet PJ and a second paper feeding roller 3 and a second paper feeding tray 12 (second paper feeding means) for feeding a middle sheet PM inserted between two sheets P1, P2 of lapped sheets PJ with a non-junction part peeled. The sheet peeling device controls so that feeding of the middle sheet PM is started by the second paper feeding roller 3 and the second paper feeding tray 12 before the operation of peeling the non-junction part of the lapped sheet PJ is completed after the lapped sheet PJ is fed by the first paper feeding roller 2 and the first paper feeding tray 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
