Abstract:
To provide a sheet pile capable of suppressing lowering of rigidity or proof stress due to cross-sectional deformation of the sheet pile caused by the bending moment acting on a sheet pile wall body formed by connecting joint parts of the sheet piles.SOLUTION: A sheet pile 1 of the present invention has a pair of flange parts 5 continuously formed at both ends of a web part 3, and a first arm part 7 and a second arm part 9 are formed at end parts of the flange parts 5, respectively. A male side joint part 11 is formed at an end of the first arm part 7 and a female side joint part 13 is formed at the end of the second arm part 9 to form the hat-like sheet pile 1. When bending moment is applied to a sheet pile wall body formed by connecting the sheet piles 1 and both joint parts push each other, a contact state at least at two parts is formed to mitigate the concentration of joint part acting force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
