Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing apparatus that can effectively correct a sheet transported while being skewed.SOLUTION: A post-processing apparatus B includes a processing tray 25 for temporarily storing a sheet to which post-processing is to be applied, and a stack tray 30 for stacking sheets after application of the post-processing. The apparatus B performs preliminary alignment with one of an alignment mechanism 35 on the processing tray 25 side and an alignment mechanism 38 on the stack tray 30 side according to size information of a sheet when transporting the sheet from the stack tray 30 side toward the processing tray 25 side for post-processing with post-processing means 31, and takes in the sheet toward a regulation stopper 29 by a take-in roller 33. Then, after aligning the sheet by the alignment mechanism 35, the apparatus performs the post-processing on the sheet by the sheet post-processing means 31 and transports to the stack tray 30.
