Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing apparatus which facilitates elimination of a jammed sheet occurring in a path when sheets discharged from an image forming apparatus are sorted into upper and lower two directions and stored.SOLUTION: A sheet discharging portion of the image forming apparatus includes sheet discharging ports arranged at upper and lower different positions. A first sheet discharging path is connected to the sheet discharging port positioned at the lower side to guide sheets to a processing tray, and a second sheet discharging path is connected to the sheet discharging port positioned at the upper side to store sheets on a sheet placement face thereof. At least part of the sheet placement face constituting the second sheet discharging path, together with a sheet trailing end regulating face, is configured to be swingable about a rotary shaft extending in a direction perpendicular to the sheet discharging direction. The second sheet discharging path is caused to swing to form an opening through which the first sheet discharging path can be accessed from the outside.
