Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device which uses paper-made staples for binding a sheet bundle and sets the binding positions across a folding position to easily allow the paper-made staples to be folded together with the sheet bundle.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device comprises folding means for folding a sheet bundle bound at binding positions. Binding means performs a binding process with paper-made staples across a folding position of the sheet bundle. The folding means comprises: a folding plate for moving the sheet bundle in a folding direction at the folding position; and paired folding rollers which contact to each other so as to hold the sheet bundle pressed by the folding plate. The folding plate and folding rollers are formed in an alternately recessed and protruded fashion, and a length of the folding plate or a radius of the folding roller corresponding to the binding position is set to an intermediate length or radius between the recess and the protrusion.
