Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processing device that gives a mark to a sheet being conveyed and that aligns and stack the sheet having been given the mark and other sheets on a discharge tray.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device comprises: conveyance mechanisms 24, 25 and 35 which convey sheets along a conveyance path 22; a sheet corner folding mechanism 50 which folds a corner part at the front end of a sheet being conveyed along the conveyance path to one face side of the sheet; a discharge tray 32 which stacks the sheet discharged from the conveyance path; an elevation part which elevates the discharge tray; and a control part which controls operations thereof. The control part drives, when the sheet at the top on the discharge tray has an upward corner folded part, a discharge tray elevation motor so as to lower the discharge tray before a following sheet is discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
