Abstract:

To improve productivity by shortening wasteful time to the actual start of perforation.

A pin 274 of a punch 273 is inserted to engage with a cam groove 275 of a slider 260, and in both forward movement and backward movement of the slider 260, the punch 273 performs one time perforation for a transported sheet. A CPU 401 starts a punch motor 221 in timing before the stop of transporting a sheet as an object for this time perforation. At that time, the CPU 401 discriminates the kind of the preceding perforated sheet, sets Δt' as a parting time when the sheet is cardboard, and starts the punch motor 221 in the lapse of time (t-Δt') after an inlet sensor 101 changes to the OFF state. On the other hand, when the sheet is other than the cardboard, Δt is set as a parting time, and the punch motor 221 is started in the lapse of time (t-Δt) after the inlet sensor 101 changes to the OFF state.
