Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device capable of detecting a curled sheet even if the curled sheet remains in an intermediate tray.SOLUTION: If it is highly probable that a sheet SHT remains on an intermediate tray 200 and beyond a region detectable by a sheet detection sensor 375, then the intermediate tray 200 is moved from a horizontal position in (a) to an inclination position in (b), an FD alignment member 231 is moved to the end in Xa direction and is returned in X direction in (c), and then the intermediate tray 200 is returned to a horizontal position in (d). When a sheet SHT remains on the intermediate tray 200, if the reciprocation of the FD alignment member 231 moves the sheet SHT to be within a region detectable by the sheet detection sensor 375, then the sheet SHT can be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
