Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processing device for folding a sheet, which can independently improve productivity related to sheet conveyance.SOLUTION: A sheet folding part 100 is disposed in parallel with a first sheet conveyance path 3, and folds a sheet conveyed on the first sheet conveyance path 3. A standby conveyance path 9 branches from a third branch part 33 closer to the downstream side of the first sheet conveyance path 3 than the sheet folding part 100. A post-processing control unit conveys, when two unprocessed sheets subsequent to the processed sheet to be folded are sequentially conveyed, the preceding first unprocessed sheet of the two unprocessed sheets to the standby conveyance path 9 to wait during a period for folding the processed sheet, conveys the succeeding second unprocessed sheet of the two unprocessed sheets to the third branch part 33 at the timing of completing the folding, resumes conveyance of the first unprocessed sheet, and conveys the processed sheet and the two unprocessed sheets in a stacked manner at the third branch part 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
