Abstract:
To solve a problem that when external force is applied to a sheet after a vertical alignment processing is executed, an alignment state of a sheet bundle is disturbed.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device of the present embodiment includes transport means, a processing tray, a stopper, a rotating shaft, a paddle unit, and a control unit. The transport means transports a sheet along a transport path. The processing tray holds the transported sheet. The stopper is arranged at an upstream side of the processing tray in a sheet transport direction. The rotation shaft extends in a direction orthogonal to the sheet transport direction. The paddle unit is provided on the rotation shaft, and has a first paddle and a second paddle shorter than a length of the first paddle in a radial direction of the axis of rotation, and the sheet on the processing tray is abutted against the stopper and aligned in the sheet transport direction. The control unit controls a vertical alignment with the first paddle and then a vertical alignment with the second paddle, and after the vertical alignment, controls rotation of the paddle unit to be stopped in a state where the first paddle or the second paddle and the sheet on the processing tray are brought into contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
