Abstract:
To provide a sheet post-processor adapted to give a mark to a sheet being carried and load it on a discharge tray so that it can be easily taken out separately from other sheets.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processor B comprises a sheet-corner folding mechanism 50 that corner-folds a corner at a tip of a sheet 33 carried on a transport passage 22 by a transport mechanism 24, 25, 35 toward one surface side thereof, a discharge tray 32 that loads thereon the sheet discharged from the transport passage, an output roller pair 25 that discharges the sheet from the transport passage onto the discharge tray, and a control section 200 that controls the movements of them. The control section allows a succeeding sheet to discharge such that one of an uppermost loaded sheet or a sheet immediately succeeding it on the discharge tray has a corner-folded portion 34 directed toward the other, which corner-folded portion is caught by a front edge of the other sheet and the one sheet is loaded in a position deviated downstream in a discharge direction from the other sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
