A sheet post-treatment device 100 comprises a loading tray 104 to load sheets discharged by a pair of discharge rollers 102 to carry fed-in sheets and discharge them, a horizontal registration matching plate 107 and a horizontal registration matching shutter 108 to match the sheets loaded in the loading tray 104, a heating and pressing member 109 and a pressing and receiving member 110 to perform post-treatment to matched sheet bundles, and a paper discharge tray 113 to load the post-treated sheet bundles. The horizontal registration matching plate 107 and the horizontal registration matching shutter 108 hold the sheets from both sides to match the sheets. The horizontal registration matching plate 107 discharges the post-treated sheet bundle to the paper discharge tray 113. The horizontal registration matching shutter 108 is evacuated to the evacuation position when the horizontal registration matching plate 107 discharges the post-treated sheet bundles to the paper discharge tray 113.
