To provide a sheet post-treatment device as improvement of a conventional arrangement in which an upstream folding roller is in the folding process, put in pressure contact with a downstream folding roller by a displacing means, solving problems wherein the constitution becomes large and the driving load is large when the folding roller is in operation.
The sheet post-treatment device provided in a sheet folding part is equipped with an opening/closing cam installed on the shaft of one folding roller for putting the folding roller in pressure contact and separating, a roll installed on the shaft of another folding roller and in contact with the cam, a roll positioned symmetrical to the first named roll about the shaft of the later named folding roller, a changeover driving means for changing over the folding rollers between pressure contact and separating through the cam, a regular-reverse changeover driving means having a drive changeover cam to change over the rotation of the folding rollers together with driving the cam, and a sheet transport driving means to change over the rotation of the folding rollers by the drive changeover cam and transport the sheet between the folding rollers and a folding/transport roller or to the gap between the folding rollers.
