In this sheet post-processing unit having a binding means 5 for binding together the central parts in the transport direction of paper sheets S discharged from an image forming apparatus A and a center folding means 60 for folding the central part in the transport direction of the paper sheet S in two, the sheet post-processing unit is provided with a first adjusting means capable of adjusting and moving to a saddle stitch position by the saddle stitch means 50 and the center folding position by the center folding means 60 according to the operation mode of inhibiting the operation of the user, and a second adjusting means capable of fine-adjusting and moving to the saddle stitch position and the center folding position in a smaller range than the first adjusting means according to a normal operation mode of enabling the user to operate.
