Abstract:
To provide a sheet pressing device capable of preventing a sheet subjected to folding processing from being peeled up and pressing a fold line of the sheet in a short time.SOLUTION: The sheet pressing device includes a roller 52a for pressing a fold line of a sheet S subjected to folding processing and a movement mechanism for moving the roller 52a in a first direction X1 along the fold line of the sheet S and a second direction opposite to the first direction X1; the roller 52a is installed so as to be swingable to the first direction X1 and the opposite second direction; the sheet pressing device is moved to the first direction X1, whereby it comes in contact with an end part Se of the fold line of the sheet S to get thereon and press the fold line of the sheet S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
