Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size increase and a cost increase of a device by improving the quality of a staple-less binding process.SOLUTION: A sheet process device includes: a staple-less binding device 52 which performs a binding process by pressing a sheet bundle S; a staple-less binding motor 75 which drives the staple-less binding device 52 so as to press the sheet bundle S; an encoder sensor 90 which detects the speed of the staple-less binding motor 75; and a CPU 162 which detects a drive voltage of the staple-less binding motor 75, and the CPU 162 determines a current value of a drive current I of the staple-less binding motor 75 based upon a detection result of the encoder sensor 90 and a detection result of the drive voltage V of the staple-less binding motor 75 during driving of the staple-less binding motor 75 and in a period in which a staple-less binding device 52 does not press the sheet bundle S.
