Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device and a control method capable of eliminating a conveyance jamming.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes a storage unit, a conveyance mechanism and a control unit. The storage unit stores a sheet. The conveyance mechanism conveys the sheet stored in the storage unit toward a predetermined position downstream in a sheet conveying direction. The control unit so controls the conveyance mechanism as to release a staple-less binding unit 10 of a sheet bundle when a conveyance jamming of the sheet occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
